Mile High Locksmith Warranty

Mile High Locksmith Warranty

After Mile High’s work is done we apply an iron clad 90 day warranty to our work and products. If you are unhappy for any reason with the product that we have installed or repaired we will repair the problem or replace the product at no cost to you. And if you are not satisfied with the work we have done, even if it is on existing locks or other devices and we haven’t installed anything new, we will refund your money. Period.

Three Days Warranty

Another aspect of our warranty program is the 3 Day No Questions Asked Returns Policy. Put simply this means that you have 3 days from the date of purchase of a product or installation of a product, work on a lock for instance, at your home to request a full, no questions asked refund. Request the return or refund within those 3 days and we won’t even ask you why. Just for your information we’re pretty certain that there’s no one else in our market that offers a locksmith warranty anything like that!

Are Car Keys Covered Under Warranty?

Depending on the make and year of your car, car key replacement may be covered under your manufacturer’s warranty. We strongly recommend that if you think that might be the case that you call your dealership and see if the keys are covered. But if you have had Mile High Locksmith perform car key replacement in the last 90 days whether old fashioned blade-type key replacement, transponder key replacement or “Keyless” key fob replacement YOU DO HAVE A CAR KEY WARRANTY through Mile High Locksmith! If you get new keys or key devices for your car from us we cover you under our 90 day warranty for replacement of the keys that we make for you. So, if there is a problem, you have no problem, we replace the keys.

There’s another thing that we just want to mention while we’re talking about car keys. This is in regards to the transponder keys and “Keyless” key fobs that we mentioned above. You see, these most modern of keys are “coded” through locksmith key programming to interface with the Engine Control Unit, or ECU, in a specific car. So each key device must be programmed to speak to one car and one car only. In your case, your car. And it’s because of this that when a customer loses a car key device we recommend that they have us delete the previous device from the ECU and do a complete rekey. That way if someone does have your keys they can’t return to the scene of the crime as it were and get into or even steal your car. We just mention it as a word to the wise.
