As a commercial business owner/operator you already know that your company has special needs when it comes to locks and doors. Please be aware that Mile High Locksmith® has almost everything that you need in stock at all times. Every pub, restaurant, movie theater and office building requires exits with a special Exit Device. Those devices can be pretty diverse in type. Emergency exits require doors with a panic bar, Push Bar or Crash Bar- all the same name for the horizontal bar attached to the door that opens the door quickly and allows for an expedient exit. These basic devices can, and in many cases should, be enhanced in a number of ways. For your Push Bar we recommend the Jackson 10 Device for its inherent strength. Your security on these doors can be enhanced with the installation of a Vertical Rod Device installed on single or double doors or an Adams Rite Deadlatch which extends the locking apparatus into the door frame. We always have these products in stock. Also, for added security you may want to consider an emergency Push Bar Alarm or an Exit Device Lock with Alarm so you are made immediately aware of an opened exit. In case you need to put an alarm on a door we suggest Detex Alarm Locks, we trust them and we have been installing them in businesses for many years. Of course, we have these devices in stock as well. In fact, we regularly stock everything component that you might need for your secure doorways including the entry door lever or handle, the push bar lock handle and entry door strike plates.
Specifically in locks we carry, install and service a broad range of both the Mortise Cylinder Lock (a “screw in” lock) and the Rim Cylinder Lock. In stock we always have interchangeable core locks which are great for master keying systems and cylinder thumbturn locks which serve very well as restroom locks. We can provide you with Do Not Duplicate keys for all of the locking devices mentioned. Speaking of keys, how about going “Keyless”? If you want to make that step now we sell, install and service the trilogy lock keyless entry systems.
We offer maintenance and repair on all of your locks whether you bought from us and had them installed by us or not. With the passage of time, and particularly in high traffic commercial businesses like pubs, restaurants and office buildings, locks do fatigue and fail. We will come out to your location, usually within the hour of your request, and get your locks operational again. In many cases we can change out some parts and fix the lock without replacing it and we will always let you know if we feel that is an option for you. But if we feel that your locks need to be replaced we will make that honest recommendation.
Door Closer
In the commercial environment you want most if not all of your doors to close automatically after they have been opened. This is especially true of doors that open to the outside world. For that we stock an array of extra duty arm door closer implements. These can come in different gauges as it were, depending on the size and weight of the door that needs to be closed automatically.
