Nissan Pathfinder lost keys

Mile High Locksmith is an expert automotive locksmith company. We can make, copy and program keys for Nissan Pathfinders as well as repair any ignition problems you may have. Please read below about information we have shared about Nissan Pathfinder keys and locks.

  • If your Nissan Pathfinder was made in the years 1987, 1988,1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, or 1998, then your SUV requires just a regular key without any chip or special features, or what we like to call just an old fashioned key. These keys are very easy to copy and replace in case you have lost your key. If you just need to copy these keys, you can take them to many hardware stores or a locksmith store. If you have lost the key, a locksmith will be able to make you a new key, either by your SUV VIN number or key code.
  • If your Nissan Pathfinder was made in the years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, or 2006, then your SUV requires a transponder chip key. If you need to make a duplicate key or replace the key if you lost it, you can have this key made by your neighborhood Nissan dealership or a locksmith company. The difference we find between the two is the cost, (usually the dealership has the best price), and the type of service. A locksmith will be able to come to you, whereas a dealership will ask you to tow your Nissan Pathfinder in. What we always recommend you to do is call around for the best price.
  • If your Nissan Pathfinder was made in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, or 2012, then your SUV will require a Nissan Smart key. This key will have to be cut and programmed to your SUV. For more information, please read above.

Programing Nissan Pathfinder keys
If your Nissan Pathfinder was made between 1998 and 2012, then your key will need to be programmed to your SUV. We usually find that the Nissan dealership has great prices for programming these keys, and are the best deal if you need a key copy.
If you lost your key, the best deal is to have a locksmith come to you and have them program the key at your location.

Nissan Pathfinder key won’t turn
Many cars, trucks and SUV’s have this problem in common. Your key gets worn out sometimes and won’t come out of the ignition or turn the ignition anymore. Another reason this can happen is that one of the parts in the ignition cylinder gets stuck. The best deal will be to call a locksmith and have him make you a new key by your SUV VIN number or key code. If that does not fix the problem, most likely you will need to have your ignition cylinder rekeyed.

Ford Ranger key

key replacement

Ford Rangers are one of the easiest trucks to unlock, make a duplicate key for, or make a replacement key in a case you have lost your key. Mile Lock and Key, LLC is an expert automotive locksmith company and can repair keys, make new replacement keys, open your Ford Ranger when you are locked out or just make a duplicate key. Below, we would like to share some information with you about your Ford Ranger keys and locks.

Ford Ranger key replacement

If you have lost your Ford key and have no spare, the fastest way to have a new key made and how much it will cost depends on the year of your truck. In general, Ford dealerships save your truck key information for ten years. With the proof of ownership such as your drivers license and truck title or registration, you can go to your neighborhood Ford dealership and have a new key made. In some of the later years, your truck key will need to be programmed, and in this case you will also need to have your truck towed to the dealership to have a replacement key made. Please read below about information we have provided about your Ford Ranger truck key:

If your Ford Ranger key was made in the years 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990. 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2005 or 2006, then most likely your truck has just a regular key with no features. If your truck was made in the years 2005 or 2006, the Ford dealership will be able to make you a new key just by the VIN number. If your Ford Ranger is older than 1998, then calling an automotive locksmith will be your best option.
If your truck was made in the years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, or 2013, then most likely your Ford truck key will need to be cut and programed to your truck. For most of those years, a Ford dealership will be able to make them for you, or an automotive locksmith. The difference between the dealership and locksmith will be the type of service and the cost. The Ford dealership will ask you to tow the truck in, whereas a locksmith can come directly to you. We recommend that you shop around for the better price between the two.

Key wont come out of ignition Ford Ranger
Many times a key will get stuck in the ignition of a truck or truck. If this has happened to you, don’t worry. It is a fixable problem. There are basically two reasons why your key is stuck in the ignition of your Ford Ranger. Before we go any further, we want to tell you to stop trying to get the key out or even if the key is still usable, please do not use it anymore. This can and will only damage your truck ignition even more.

The first and most common reason this has happened is because the key is worn out. Making a key copy of this key will not help the problem. Call an automotive locksmith to come and make you a new working key by VIN number or key code, or go to a Ford dealership and have them make you a new key.
The second reason why your key may be stuck is because a part in the ignition has gotten stuck. You will need to call a locksmith to come and rekey your ignition.

Spare key for Ford Ranger
This is how you can make a spare key to your Ford Ranger on your own:
Adding a duplicate key requires two old working keys to be able to add a third key.
First you can buy a Ford Ranger key blank online from a website. We recommend trying amazon.com, ebay.com, or ikeyless.com.
Next, you need to make a copy from your old key to the new key you have just purchased, You can do this in many hardware stores or locksmith store. We recommend you to try Ace hardware. Now that you have two working keys, plus a new key you have just purchased, you can program a duplicate key yourself by following these simple steps:

First insert one of your old keys into the ignition cylinder.
Turn the ignition cylinder to the ON position and start the truck, Turn the truck back to the OFF position.
Remove the first key, and within five seconds, insert the second old key. Turn it to the ON position and start the truck, then turn it back to the OFF position.
Insert the new key within ten seconds and
turn it to ON position. Leave it on for one second and turn
back to the OFF position.
The security light will light up for three seconds. This means that the new key has been successfully programmed.

If you call and have a locksmith come to you, the locksmith will know right away if your Toyota Camry requires a transponder chip key or not.
If your Toyota Camry was made in the years 2003, 2004, 2005 or 2006, then your Camry requires a transponder chip key. These keys need to be cut and programmed to the car.
If your Toyota Camry was made in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, then you can have just a regular transponder chip key, a key fob remote, or a Smart key. To be sure which key your Camry requires, you can call a Toyota dealership or a locksmith company.

The difference between the two is the type of service and the cost. A toyota dealership will ask you to come to make a key or in some cases even ask you to tow the car in. A locksmith company will be able to come right to your Camry’s location and make you a key right on spot. The dealership or the locksmith will be able to make you a new key by the VIN number. Toyota Camry key won’t turn the ignition
Mile High Locksmith™

If your Toyota Camry key won’t turn your ignition, it can be because of two different reasons.

The first reason, which is more common, is that you have a worn out key. Making a copy of the same key will not fix the problem. What we recommend you do, is to have a new key made by the VIN number information or key code. You can have a key made by the VIN number or key code at a Toyota dealership or through a locksmith.
The second reason your Toyota Camry key may not turn the ignition is because one of the parts in the ignition cylinder that is called a wafer, has become stuck. We recommend you call a locksmith and have them rekey your ignition cylinder.

Spare key for a Toyota Camry
If your Toyota Camry was made in the years 1983 to 1997, you can make a key duplicate at a Toyota dealership, a locksmith store, or many hardware stores. One of the hardware stores we recommend you try is Ace Hardware.
If your Toyota Camry was made in the years 1998 and up, making a spare key becomes more difficult and pricy. Besides cutting the key, the key will need to be programmed to your car’s immobilizer. You can have a Toyota dealership or a locksmith company make this key for you.
If you have some extra time and want to save some money, a cheaper way to get a duplicate key is by ordering a key blank online. Some of the websites we recommend you look at are, ebay.com, amazon.com, or ikeyless.com. After you get the new key blank in the mail, you will still have to take the key and the car to a Toyota dealership or have a locksmith come to you and have them cut and program the key.

Kia Sedona key replacement

It can be that your Kia Sedona has just a regular key without any features, or you may have a Chip key that will need to be programmed to your SUV. What kind of a key your Kia Sedona requires depends on the year of your SUV.

  • If your Sedona was made in the years 2002, 2003, 2004, or 2005, then most likely your Sedona does not require a chip key or what people will call a transponder key. Your SUV will require just a regular key that is easy to make, You can use a couple of places to make these keys. The first place will be a Kia dealership. At a Kia dealership you can get a new key made and all you will need to do is stop by and show proof of ownership. Your drivers license and car title or registration will be good enough proof. The second way, and fastest way, will be to call an automotive locksmith. The automotive locksmith will be able to come to your SUV location and cut you a new key right on spot. We always recommend that you shop around for prices between the Kia dealership and locksmith companies.
  • If your Kia Sedona was made in the years 2006, 2007, 2008, or 2009, then it is possible that your Kia key will need to be programed to your SUV immobilizer. This means that besides cutting your SUV key, the technician will need to connect his programing machine to your Kia’s computer. You can have these keys made by your kia Dealership or by a locksmith company. The difference between the two will be the cost and the type of service. If your Kia requires a transponder chip key, the locksmith will be able to come to your SUV’s location and make you a working key right there. The dealership will ask you to tow the vehicle in.

Kia Sedona key stuck in ignition
If your Kia Sedona key gets stuck in the ignition there are two reasons why this may have happened. The first reason why the key is stuck is because the key is worn out. The second reason it might not be coming out is because one of the parts in the ignition cylinder is stuck. We recommend that you call an automotive locksmith and they can make you a new key by the SUV’s VIN number, or they can just rekey the lock itself.

Spare key Kia Sedona
The Kia Sedona, depending on what year it is, can have either a transponder key or just a regular key. If you have just a regular key and have a spare key, you can just get a copy of it made at many hardware stores. One of the hardware stores we recommend trying is Ace Hardware. If you have a transponder key, you can get a copy made through a locksmith or at a Kia dealership.

Ford Super Duty

Ford key fob

Ford truck Super Duty F series keys are usually just simple keys and are very easy to copy or replace in a case where you have lost your key. Mile High Lock and Key, LLC is an expert automotive locksmith company. Please read below on some information we have shared with you about Ford truck keys.

Ford Truck Super Duty F Series – F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-650, F-750 Key Replacement
If your Ford Truck Super Duty F Series was made in the years 1986, 1987,1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, or 1997, then you have just a regular key to your truck. In some cases we have seen that a Ford truck still has just a regular key up to the year 2005.These keys are easy to copy or to make a replacement one if you have lost the key. You can copy these keys at a locksmith or hardware store. One of the hardware stores we recommend to try is Ace Hardware. If you have lost your key and need to make a replacement, you might only be able to make the replacement key by using a locksmith for these years. The reason is, is because a Ford dealership only keeps key information for ten years.

Programming keys for Ford Super Duty F-Series
If your Ford truck was made in the years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, or 2013, then most likely your truck has an anti theft system installed and this system requires a transponder chip key to be programmed to your truck.
Sometimes we do find that between the years 1998 to 2005, Ford still made trucks without the transponder key. To be sure you have a transponder chip key, usually when you turn your key to the ON position, all the lights will light up such as the gas light, battery light, etc.The anti theft system light will also light up. It will say the name or have a picture of a key. What the anti theft system does, is if you try to start the truck without the transponder key, the anti theft system will block the gas pump. This means that your engine will crank, but never start.
If your truck was made in the year 2008 and up, you can program a key fob remote to your truck. The key fob remote will have the blade and on top of the key head you will have push buttons to lock and unlock the truck.

There are a couple of ways you can program a transponder key to your truck. The first way will be through a Ford dealership, and the second way will be through a locksmith company. We recommend that you shop around between the two for the best price.

Changing Ford Truck Super Duty F Series door locks or changing keys
If you are looking to change the key to your truck, there is a cost effective way to do it if your truck has a transponder chip key. You can cancel your old working key and ask a locksmith or Ford dealership to erase all your old keys from your anti theft system and reprogram a new transponder key that has a new code. Reprogramming a new key will give you the peace of mind that whoever has your old keys, will be able to unlock the doors but not start the engine.
Another way to change the keys in your truck is to call a locksmith and ask them to rekey your truck locks.

Ford truck ignition won’t turn
There can be two reasons why your ignition switch won’t turn.

The first reason, which is most common, is that you have a worn out key. Making a new key copy will not fix the problem. What we recommend you do is to have either a locksmith or Ford dealership make you a new key by your truck VIN number.
The second reason is because one of the wafers is stuck and you will need to rekey the ignition. You can call a locksmith and ask them to do this for you.

Ford Super Duty keyless entry remote
You can program a keyless entry remote for your Ford Super Duty truck from the year 1993 and up. You can buy these remotes online, through a locksmith company or Ford dealership. After you purchase this remote you will need to have a locksmith or Ford dealership program it for you.

Subaru Forester key replacement

Subaru key fob

Most Subaru Forester SUV keys are easy to make or copy. If your Subaru Forester was made in the year 2004 or before, you can copy your key at a hardware store such as Ace Hardware or through a locksmith company. If your Subaru Forester was made in the years 2005 to 2011, the security system became more advanced and even just to make a key copy will become difficult and expensive. Mile High Lock and Key is a Subaru key expert company located in Denver, Colorado. Below, we have shared with you some information about what type of key your Subaru Forester has and what you can do if you have a key or lock problem.

Spare key for Subaru Forester
If your Subaru Forester was made in the years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, or 2004, then your midsize SUV will have just a simple key, or what we like to call an “old fashioned key.” Most of these keys are easy to copy and can be copied at many hardware stores or at a locksmith store.
If your Subaru Forester midsize SUV was made in the year 2005 or after, there are only two ways you can make a spare key. The first way is to go to a Subaru dealership and the second way will be to go through a locksmith company. The difference between the dealership and the locksmith will be the price. What we recommend you do is to shop around for the better price between the two.

Subaru Forester key replacement

Where and how can I get a key replacement for my Forester? What can I do if my midsize SUV key was stolen and I want to change the key? You can get a key replacement for your Subaru Forester through a Subaru dealership or through a locksmith. The difference between the two will be the type of service and the cost. Something else that can make a difference between the locksmith and the Subaru dealership services will be the year of your Subaru Forester. If your Subaru Forester was made in the years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, or 2011, your key will need to be cut and programmed to your midsized SUV. If your Subaru Forester is between the years 2009 and 2011, besides your key needing to be programmed, the key is also a high security key and can only be cut by a laser machine. Why is there a price difference between the locksmith and dealership? How can you cancel any old working keys and get a new key to your SUV?

There is a price difference between a locksmith company and a Subaru dealership because in a case where you have lost your key and have no spare, a Subaru dealership will ask you to tow you SUV in, whereas a locksmith will be able to cut and program you a key wherever your Forester is located. Tip: If you have full coverage through your insurance company, you may be eligible for free towing and they may even pay for some of the service for making a new key. We recommend you to shop around for prices.
If the key to your Subaru Forester was stolen, or maybe the person who has a key, and won’t give it back, there is a cost effective way to change your midsize SUV key. If your Subaru Forester was made in the year 2005 and after, you can reprogram a new key. By reprogramming a new key, you will cancel any old working key to your SUV, making the other keys unusable.

Subaru Forester key won’t come out
There are two reasons why your key won’t come out of the ignition or door locks, or why the key can mess up the locks.

The first reason is because the key is worn out. If your key is worn out, each time you use this key and turn your ignition or door lock the key is scraping one of the parts inside. What we recommend you do, is that if you are still able to take the key out, stop using this key as soon as possible and go to either a locksmith company or Subaru dealership and ask them to make you a new key either by the VIN number or key code.
The second reason why your key will not come out or will not turn your Subaru Forester’s ignition, is because one of the parts in the ignition cylinder or door lock is stuck. What we recommend you to do is call a locksmith and have them rekey the door or ignition lock for you.

Subaru Forester keyless entry remote
We recommend you use a locksmith company or Subaru dealership to program a keyless entry remote. Tip: You can save some money by ordering a Subaru Forester keyless entry remote online and then having a locksmith program it for you. The websites we recommend you try are amazon.com, ebay.com, ikeyless.com, or keylessride.com.
